Marc Gudema

Marc Gudema is the Managing Broker of BayState Business Brokers. He has an extensive background buying, operating, and selling small businesses. For over 20 years, he owned and operated an automotive distribution business and a printing business. Marc Gudema earned the Certified Business Intermediary designation from the International Business Brokers Association. His education includes BA and MBA degrees. He is a licensed Massachusetts' real estate broker and sells commercial real estate. He is on the board of the New England Business Brokers Association.

 

 

Sarah Gudema

Sarah Gudema has over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing. She most recently worked for the largest staffing firm in the country helping business owners and managers meet their production needs through strategic staffing. Sarah’s experience also includes managing the sales and operations for several locations of a med-spa chain. Prior to this, Sarah spent five years developing and implementing marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies for a major public relations agency. She received her B.A. in Communications from Indiana University.

 


 

Ron Melbourne

Ron is a Business Broker and Exit Planning Specialist for BayState Business Brokers and serves Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Prior to joining BayState, Ron coached hundreds of business owners to greater valuations through a variety of programs with ActionCoach. Ron has held both analytical and managerial positions in several Fortune 500 firms, and has also owned and managed his own retailing business with commercial property that he successfully sold a few years ago. Ron is a graduate of The Ohio State University, and has also earned an MBA with Distinction from Bentley University in Waltham, MA.

 

 

Bill McCartin

Bill McCartin has a broad industry background in sales and marketing with over 25 years of experience. He is able to leverage his knowledge of financial services, manufacturing, retail, and real estate to the advantage of his business buyers and sellers. Most recently he was an officer with a large international bank providing lending and other services to local small and medium sized businesses. For 15 years prior Bill worked in sales, marketing and portfolio management within the investment world, and in the last 5 of those years he also helped design target marketing campaigns. Early in his career he was also in charge of sales and operations for both a retailer and a metalworking manufacturer. Bill holds a bachelors degree in Economics from Rutgers University and is a 2006 graduate of the Economic Development Institute.
