General Information
Facilities: 8,500 total square feet which includes a 4,500 square foot showroom and 4,000 square feet of storage/bathroom/office space. The downstairs storage area alone is 2,500 and has a conveyer belt to easily transport inventory up to the showroom. Deliveries are easily received from vendors through the basement and the business does its own delivery service to clients in the area.  The current rent is $8,000 per month and is currently being renegotiated. Growth and Expansion: The owner feels that a buyer with the ability to add more inventory and use a "discount" model will do extremely well in that location. Given the current economy, consumers want to buy less expensive items, so stocking more of these items will make the store more profitable. Also, a buyer should do more marketing, including mailings to the current customer base as well as expanding search engine marketing. A buyer should also make the signage out front more prominent to draw drive-by customers to the store.
